The Air Jordan 1 Mid Black Fire Red GS is a mid-top variation of the classic Air Jordan 1.​Its upper is constructed of black, red, and white leather overlays, while its midsole and outsole are constructed mainly out of rubber. To provide low-profile support, this shoe for grade-schoolers has a midsole featuring cushioning materials, while to support natural motion, its solid rubber outsole features forefoot flex grooves. Swooshes on the lateral sides, a Jumpman Air logo on a black tongue tag, and a Jordan Wings logo on its ankle flap complete the design.​​The Air Jordan 1 Mid Black Fire Red GS was released on June 22, 2022.
