When it comes to Nike and Jordan Brand, nothing is ever coincidental. So when a Syracuse Dunk-inspired Air Jordan 1 Mid appeared last month, we just knew that there would be more OG Dunk-inspired options on the way to ride the wave of both Jordan 1 and Dunk popularity all the way to the bank. And right on cue, this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Kentucky” has appeared in a colorway that’s true to the Dunk’s school roots. Though it differs slightly in its blue shade — and with white liners in place —  the pair arrives in much the same styling. Smooth white leather uppers are met by royal blue overlays of the same material, while tongues and midsoles are made up in bright whites. Outsoles and tongue branding opt for blue, too, while Wings logos at the ankle pop in crisp white.
